Bamford starts his first ever Premier League game - four years after signing for Chelsea

The 22-year-old lines up in attack for Norwich City as the Canaries host Manchester City at Carrow Road in Saturday's early kick-off

Patrick Bamford has been handed his first PREMIER LEAGUE start - four years after he was signed by Chelsea.

The 22-year-old joined Crystal Palace at the start of the season but returned to Stamford Bridge by the end of December after failing to secure a regular role.

The striker was then loaned out to Norwich and, after two substitute appearances, is now named in the starting XI against Manchester City for Saturday's clash.

For City, Wilfried Bony continues to partner Sergio Aguero in attack, while Fernando replaces the injured Yaya Toure in midfield.
